Nakhla has a natural cut with longer strips than some of the more modern brands. It has a high stem count, but not unreasonable for the price. Nakhla seems to get the fragance of coconut right. Where other companies have a more artificial sweet fragance, Nakhla produces a coconut with a deeper and more subtle character. It is a very fresh scent. The smoking of this flavor is smooth and relaxing. Nakhla, by its nature, is not a light tobacco. It has a little more bite and offers a more traditional style smoke. The coconut flavor comes out in the smoke a bit subdued, which is common in the Nakhla line and traditional style shisha. Overall, this is a good flavor with spot-on accuracy. It also mixes well with many other flavors.
