The male tips are designed to go inside the metal and wooden ended hookah hoses. All hoses vary and these fit 90% of the time.

The female tips fit over the metal tips of the hose and are not recommended for wooden ended hookah hoses. The plastic can restrict the flow of smoking so please use properly and make sure the ends have no obstructions. The female tips work about 10% of the time and can be cut with scissors to fit larger hookah hoses.
