This is a modern ceramic hookah head. The Vortex Bowl is designed to hold in juices and pull smoke through the spire in the middle. This allows the shisha packed to smoke longer and hold its moisture, so it's nearly impossible to burn. It holds around 25 to 30 grams of shisha tobacco.
