I normally use the Mya hoses that come with my hookahs, but wanted a hose that could upgrade for an ice hose - I'm still trying to get that "garden hose" or synthetic/plastic/chemical taste out of the hose - After 5 washings and 3 smoke sessions it's starting to die down, I think I really do prefer the washable leather hoses Mya makes because I've never had so much of my smoking wasted getting that taste out of those - Now that it's almost fully broken in the pull is very easy and I enjoy the feel of the handle, it's convenient while gaming since you can just tuck it under your arm or between your knees and pull with no hands no need to pause or put down a controller! - The mouthpiece comes on and off securely allowing for the ice attachment to go in and make a strong seal - All in all, not my favorite hose, but for the ice upgrade it's worth the investment -

A friend of mine bought these for his home made, all glass hookah, as he doesnt like the metallic taste of others. They work great, with thick smoke and an easy pull. The only issue I've found is these hoses (he bought the long ones) are too heavy and long for a smaller hookah to hold up without getting pulled over. Another issue is that, after about a year, 1 of the 3 he ordered had a joint work loose right below the handle, so it leaked a little. It was fixed with hot glue, but it still had to be done.
